Saturday, October 27, 2018

The Plano Police Department, in a collaborative effort with the Drug Enforcement Agency, will provide a unified opportunity for the public to surrender expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications for destruction. A National Take Back Day provides a unified opportunity for the public to surrender expired, unwanted, or unused prescription drugs to law enforcement officers for destruction. Drop-of locations are open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at these following locations:

Clark High School, 523 W. Spring Creek Parkway

Plano East Senior High School, 3000 Los Rios Boulevard

Plano Senior High School, 2200 Independence Parkway

Plano West Senior High School, 5601 W. Parker Road

Take advantage of this opportunity to safely and legally discard unneeded pills, including pain prescriptions and other controlled substance medications, as these pills can only be accepted for disposal when law enforcement is present.
